plant saucers for my baby amaryllis

This weekend, I made room in my indoor greenhouses for more seed-starting trays. I want to start ALL THE THINGS!

As I mentioned, I have 3 trays of amaryllis plants that I’ve grown from seed. I have the trays in the greenhouse, but I need the room. I decided to move the plants into sunny spots in my house which freed up 2 shelves.

I picked up small clear plastic plates at The Dollar Tree. A pack of 8 costs $1.25. I bought 3 packs though I needed 4.

I like the plastic saucers for a few reasons. They won’t break if dropped. I don’t need extra protection underneath if I put the plants on wood. They’re also much cheaper than clay saucers.

For funsies, this was my help. Winston has no sense of personal space. EVER. Or maybe I traumatized him too much when I trimmed and ground down his nails. More on that next.
