Recently we began hanging pictures in our breakfast room. My plan was to stick with a plant theme using my photography and prints I’ve picked up while thrifting.

I found this tulip poster last fall at a flea market for $12. The frame is from Michael’s craft store. Silly me bought a frame slightly longer than I needed.

To fix the issue I bought a $.50 piece of poster at the dollar tree which I cut in half. I fit the halves at the top and bottom of the frame. I like how it turned out. Unless one is super close, one can’t see the edge of the tulip poster.

The top picture is a watercolor of a geranium I found at a thrift shop for a few dollars. The bottom is a photo I took of an echinacea flower in my old garden. I’d like to add a few more pictures to this grouping.

Finally I used ikea frames for a painting my daughter made in school a few year ago and a Cezanne
