full Murph, folks

I did it! I completed the full Murph yesterday! My total time was 59 minutes and 12 seconds. I

Since I had run 3 days in a row and I was struggling with pull-ups this week, I chose to walk with a weight vest of 20 lbs. I’m not sure why but I haven’t been able to do more than 2 pull-ups in a row. My running was off too.

Because of our weekend plans I did the Murph workout yesterday. My goal was to hit at least 15 rounds. With goals of physical and mental endurance, I knew grinding my way through doing my best was the only way to keep building momentum.

This week I turned 55. I’m proud of myself for 39 years of pursuing physical fitness. Who knew putting a pair of sneakers on in high school to run down my street would become a life long habit? Running has taken me through so much in my life.
