It’s decorating week in my home. It’s our second Christmas in a bigger home. I’m getting used to having more space to decorate and space that is structured in a different way than I’m used to.
Last year, I decided to embrace having multiple artificial trees. I can do themes with each tree, using all our ornaments. In memory of our middle son, one tree had his ornaments and cardinals. Another tree had my mercury glass ball collection and blue glass ball collection.
Because artificial trees can be a bit sparse, I decided to wrap an artificial garland around the trunk. Since I leave the garland loose, I needed 2 garlands to wrap this 6 foot tree.
I use the garlands that have pieces sticking out like a real pine garland. The idea is to fill in the space to create the illusion of a dense tree.
